Ghana?

Did you know where Ghana was when you were 10 years old? I certainly didn't.  I met the children at NGN's Karnali home yesterday and several of them were more than eager to test my knowledge of soccer and cricket.  I'm the first to admit that my working knowledge of both of these sports is quite subpar - especially when I'm being quizzed on various professional players and their respective teams.  All the kids seem to know and love David Beckham, but they also mentioned a host of other players including some from France, Germany and Portugal.  They were also talking about some soccer match between Ghana and another country that I now forget.  Long story short, I was left in awe of how infinitely more worldly these kids are than I was at that age.
